Actor Robbie Coltrane RIP

Actor Robbie Coltrane has died at the age of 72. My family are huge fans of the Harry Potter books & movies. Coltrane's portrayal of Hagrid was one of the best in those movies.

Coltrane's birth name was Anthony McMillan. He chose Coltrane for a stage name as an homage to John Coltrane.

Back in 1989, Richard Dreyfuss made a movie called "Let It Ride". I always liked this movie. I was just reminded that Robbie Coltrane had a bit part as the window teller at the race track. He was good even in that small role.

I liked Robbie Coltrane as the lead actor in the British TV series "Cracker".

She got reissued (I own it and it's good)...  Not familiar with Robbie, never did any of the Harry Potter movies or books, but RIP.  72 is young these days.

Is she still alive? Or has that part of her still waiting to be reissued? 

Remember Rosco P. Coltrane? I don't think that he was in any way a tribute to John Coltrane.
