Dan Gould
Lots of burning for some board members, more Weinstock transcribing, and Easter dinner at my brother-in-law's.
jack
Friday - Rent DVD's and some good take out. Saturday - I will see the Passion of the Christ. I have been wanting to see it before 'Easter'. Iwill also watch Davis Cup & the women's Bausch & Lomb tennis tourney. It looks like Serena Williams could win this one. Sunday - 2 dinners at different houses (I'm full already) and a play at church in the evening. A laid back weekend.
RainyDay
The boss is taking us out for drinks tonight. We are unbelievably busy and working in a totally chaotic environment. Going to spend Sunday with family. They go to church, I show up for dinner. It's an all day family get together and I'm really looking forward to it. May squeeze in a massage on Sunday morning if my masseuse is free. Clean house on Saturday. I have a full scale dust bunny riot in my house. wesbed
I'm driving a friend to the Phoenix airport (from Tucson) on Friday night. It's a two hour drive. We will be dining at the In-N-Out burger on the way. The plane departs from Phoenix, headed for Chicago, at midnight (Phoenix time). Then, I will be returning home to enjoy the weekend, with no plans. I took my friend to the Phoenix airport. The airplane departed from Phoenix at 12:08AM and arrived in Chicago at 5:08AM. My friend will be waiting for the next departure leaving Chicago at 7:50AM. I've been at my computer all night, Friday night into Saturday morning, scanning the jazz boards, listening to some Mosaics, and tracking my friend's flight from Phoenix to Chicago. The friend still has another hour to wait till the departure of the next flight. 'Friend' and me pictured here. brownie
Trying to stay away from work. Looking forward to listen to several new albums, watch a couple of movies on the TV film channels and have a long walk through the streets of Paris while humming (my whistling is too bad!) 'April in Paris'. The locals seem to have deserted the city. The Easter tourists have taken over...

In my prime I've done it before in under 4 1/2 hours, but these days with the delays at the dam, it's more like 5 to 5 1/2.

I've not made the drive in many years. My guesstimate was correct when I figure the drive time, from Tucson, would be about eight hours. sheldonm
I'm going to an open house on Saturday for about 60 artists who open up their studios to the public two days each year, should be much fun. On Saturday night, I'm going to dinner with my family for my birthday, which was this past Wednesday. Sunday, working around the house, lots to do now that winter is gone (I think). Peter Johnson
Broad Street Run (10 miles) in downtown Philadelphia on Sunday--can't wait! The forecast is for thunder and lightning!!! Philadelphia Orchestra Saturday night after dinner (pasta?) with my wife. Sadly, it's been beautiful all week (75 degrees right now and I've got serious urges to leave), and it threatens to be very wet this weekend...
