Very sorry to hear this. Saw him with Mal Waldron many years ago which was excellent. He had a monthly gig in Heidelberg with his trio and I regret I never made up my mind to go there. Then there was the pandemic and that was it.

RIP.  His work on Mal's Hard Talk is memorable, but personally I'm impressed most by Joe Haider's Cafe Des Pyrennees.  Blairman has very distinctive rhythmic sense.
