A reissue I almost had given up hope to see in my lifetime: the Dave Burns Vanguard album, with the tracks featuing him from Al Grey and Billy Mitchell albums as bonus tracks:

Too bad they couldn't go ahead and also steal the Bill English Vanguard LP to go with it. Burns is on that one as well.

Oh, wait, there were TWO Dave Burns LPs on Vanguard. Where's the other one? Has nobody in, like, Japan remastered it yet, is that what we're waiting for?

My favorite Dave Burns on Vanguard is "Warming Up!".  I hope Fresh Sound would reissue it someday...(well, it's already available on Spotify, but anyway)

'Warming Up' is a 1964 recording, so outside of Fresh Sound's 1962-and-before P.D. availability.  Some other companies like Enlightenment seem to have (or at least feel) the freedom to go up to 1964.

Warming Up is on Spotify. The cover says "Vanguard Digital Vault". The copyright note says "(c) (p) 2006 Vanguard Records, a Welk Music Group Company".

My understanding was that the laws changed to not allow past 1962, likely largely due to the work of a certain moptop quartet taking hold in 1963 in the UK and 1964 in the USA.

I have always believed so. Major well-established online retailer (they do have one physical outlet) with a focus for Classical music, a good alternative to Amazon. 

I've purchased from them a few times, no issues
