King Crimson Collectors' Club CDs

I have never bought any of these but am eyeing a couple.

1) Are they real CDs or CDrs?

2) I know some sound terrible. Are there any to avoid at all costs? Are there any that are essential?

I have a soft spot for circa 1974 King Crimson so I've picked up some from this era. Got Toronto, Brescia, Pittsburgh, Heidelberg. All pressed CDs and great audio-wise (last three are recent Japanese reissues.)

Toronto is one of my radar, and also Zoom Club 1972 and Hyde Park 1969. Marquee 1969 was tempting but the reviews say the sound is awful.

The ones available on the DGM site are pressed CDs? Japanese reissues seem to be a different series entirely.

Asbury Park has some overlap with USA, but more tracks, correct?

Asbury Park has the uncut versions of the songs "Asbury Park" and "Easy Money".  On the USA album, the two songs were edited to about half their lengths.  If you are a fan of Bill Bruford, I recommend the uncut version on the song "Asbury Park".

Definitely real cds. Have quite a few.
