Kevin Bresnahan
I've seen Ravi live many times. What is he doing now that might offend anyone? This is from his last release as a leader:

Guy Berger
The OP is not a fan of ideas introduced into straightahead jazz after 1960
BFrank
I saw him at SFJAZZ about a week ago in a sit-down discussion about doing the music of his parents, particularly his mother.

As much as I love hard bop these days, the more electronics integrated in stuff is what I gravitate towards now especially as I started to get into MIDI study theory and start creating music
kh1958
In recent years I've heard him three times with Jack DeJohnette and Matt Garrison, once in a duet with David Virelles, and as a guest artist with Brandee Younger. For me, at this point in time he is quite good on the higher pitched horns, soprano and sopranino, and decent on tenor. Somehow his tenor playing seems a bit underpowered.
