Karl Berger - From Now On

To my knowledge, this is one of the only, if not the only ESP date that was never reissued in any form. It's not even listed on ESP's website. Does anyone know why that is? I assume it might have to do with Berger retaining some rights to the recording, but I'd be interested to know about why that is as well. 

Same story with his Milestone date, though Fantasy was much more lax with reissuing those titles so that is less of a surprise. Still, it's a shame neither of these albums have ever had much circulation.

Berger doesn't want -- or didn't want -- the ESP reissued, and from what I understand he was able to get the masters/rights back. The mix is quite bad, actually, so I understand. It's a great record but it could use some help.

I don't know if he feels the same way about the Milestone.
