Charlie Parker with Strings August 27, 1954.

Today on Bird Flight Phil played the last performance of Parker with Strings, a concert from the 27th of August 1954. I don't believe I have this one. 

Does anyone know if this was ever issued?

What I still want to know is...a while back I found someplace online that was offering unrecord (unplayed?) charts from the Bird With Strings book/library. There were MIDI files, and the contributors included John Lewis, George Russell, a.o.

Has anybody even looked into that/those with an eye towards performing them, in any fashion?

wow this might have been the last time Bird played with strings. 

Bird with Strings in general is not exactly what I listen to much, maybe sometimes I´m in a mood where I like it, mostly in wintertime if it´s comfortable at home and I want to hear such a sound...
