Examination revealed the individual jackets of the first box have spines and the second ones don't. Was this a critical decision? Quote
jazzbo Posted July 12, 2021 Report Posted July 12, 2021 They are. I replaced mine however with that "Complete" set that came out of Europe. The Columbia may have some different mastering, but both sound quite good, and I like having ALL of the material, studio and live, in one set. Quote

Cheap Trick 14 CD box getting reissued in next few weeks. The Weather Report 71-75 is a great set, and those boxes are really nice and amazingly priced. Edited January 13, 2022 by felser Quote
jazzbo Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 I sold those boxes on and have the "Complete Albums" box set that has all those and more. I think the two boxes sounded a bit better, but I have LPs of my favorites anyway and play those instead of cd versions.. Quote
