Prime Video and 5% points rebate from Prime VISA are also nice features included in the membership. Edited March 24, 2021 by felser Quote
HutchFan Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 Yeah, this Roy Brooks release goes to the top of the list. And the Harold Land looks interesting too. Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 Surely The Bastards™ will have this, and the Land/Carmell thing too, you’d have to think? I’m just tempted to take my chances there, even if it costs an extra buck or two. Quote
bertrand Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 Where and when is the Harold Land from? Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 Did anyone notice, is/was the Harold Land thing a 2cd set too? (Or 3LP’s then, I’d guess). Quote
thirdtry Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 The Harold Land CD will be a single disc. No info yet aside from the personnel listed on the cover but I'm sure it will be updated within the next few weeks. Quote

david weiss Posted March 26, 2021 Report Posted March 26, 2021 I have not heard the final product but I heard the original tapes and it's pretty killing. The intensity level is high. I think the Land is from the Penthouse in Seattle but I'm not sure.... Quote

Late Posted July 6, 2021 Report Posted July 6, 2021 Woody Shaw sounds great on the sample from Understanding. Just when I was on a spending hiatus ... Quote
Late Posted July 7, 2021 Report Posted July 7, 2021 Turns out I had a ton of Amazon Rewards points, so I just pre-ordered. Can't wait to dig in after the release date! Quote

Pim Posted July 26, 2021 Report Posted July 26, 2021 Ordered the cd. Vinyl is almost unavailable in Europe. Same goes for the Harold Land. Such a pity. Quote

Honest Jon's still have the LP and at £65 at the most reasonable price I have seen but my streaming listens have promoted a purchase yet Quote

Thanks anyway! Quote

That title quite elusive on vinyl here in the UK on RSD for some odd reason. Same with the Hargrove/Miller and Charles Lloyd. Bill Evans still MIA. JazzMessengers did have the Harold Land on vinyl, not sure if they still have it in stock. 9 minutes ago, Pim said: With the new rules, ordering from the UK has become very expensive unfortunately And of course 65 pounds already is a pretty high price... Thanks anyway! It is getting to the stage where one needs to take out a mortgage on the house when these release batches come round. I’m sure that in the last year or so what used to be £15 an LP is now an average around the £30 mark. Edited July 26, 2021 by sidewinder Quote
