Thanks! This makes it clearer how this came about.

So Booker and Nuria only meet on three tracks. Does Booker solo on those?

Yes, he does. In fact that is what he solely does, if I remember correctly. No melody, no obbligato behind the vocals... Will check again today.

I bought it, and you are correct. Clearly he was a last minute addition. He sounds great, definitely worth it for Booker fans.

I am pretty sure Booker's Blues is not the same piece he recorded for Candid.

Good deduction. Booker was playing at the Whisky Jazz in Madrid and its owner Jean-Pierre Bourbon kindly let him go for one day to this recording session at critic and producer Albert Mallofré’s request. The saxophonist arrived directly to the recording session. He had never met nor even heard about Núria Feliu, and found the initial two-tune selection with the vocalist (Lullaby of Birdland and Bye Bye Blackbird) without prior notice.

For the four instrumentals, Tete and Booker decided on the spot. The latter chose Just Friends, then Tete suggested a blues and a ballad (Yesterdays). As for the ice cream topping, Booker selected one his evergreens, Scoochee Coochee.

Definitely, this pianoless trio track is a different blues from the piece recorded for Candid.

According to Mallofré's liner notes, Ervin registered the song as 'El Blues D'En Booker' (in Catalan), but I have searched in ASCAP and BMI and have not been able to find it as such.

However, check "Groovin' At The Jamboree" from the Prestige disc 'The Trance':

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYxWv1UwfRs

Jamboree was (and 'is') a jazz club in Barcelona, where Booker played whenever he stayed in the city. For example, a few months earlier, in March 1965 (clipping from La Vanguardia, March 6, 1965):
