Supposedly forthcoming from New World Records. But the only info I can find is this screenshot a friend shared with me.

Anybody here know anything more about this release?

yeah, Fales has a number of musicians' papers. Bill Dixon's archives (including tapes) are there as well.

Looks like NYU must be getting some extra funding for the Hemphill project, too. Very enticing.

I'm definitely a fan of his solo and sax ensemble works, but I'm hoping some of those loft-era jazz groups are represented as well.

Me too as I’m most interested in those small groups with drummers from the late 70’s through the mid 80’s. Anything with Philip Wilson & Abdul Wadud, please.
