I guess they are boots, so I may get booted for even bringing them up, but here goes. I assume the performances are great, are these OK sound-wise?

No idea. I've purchased one or two Hi-Hat releases and the audio quality depends more on the quality of the source. I don't think they do much in the way of remastering, editing or documenting the releases.

At least one release, the Joe Pass Las Vegas CD, is something I recorded off satellite years ago when working in public radio. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the tape I made, since I shared it with at least a couple of Joe Pass collectors. I edited out most, if not all, of the host, Alan Grant, who sometimes talked too long and commented over the music.

I assume they are not CDrs based on the ones I have.

I own at most 2 or 3, they aren't CDrs.
