I would have hoped that Catherine O'Hara and schitt's Creek would have generated some sort of SCTV resurgence revival whatever but apparently not too bad ,unadulterated brilliance from start to finish

Is there some special reason why this is in the "Miscellaneous - Non-Political" forum instead of the "Artists" forum? You can like or dislike her music, but you cannot deny that she was an artist.

My complaints about "I am Woman" are not sociological or lyrical, they're musical.  An estimable song, but one I have always found unlistenable due to its hokey tune and arrangement.

Well, you could take "Delta Dawn" and cross it with "The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald" and the resultant cacophony would still be more listenable than "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down".

Joan Baez had the radio hit, and as always, the results were indeed dire,

Yeah, she's an incredibly talented singer/guitarist, but she changes the mood of most songs she covers into a weepy folk ballad.

Does anybody have the tapes (audio or video) of the segment of her summer replacement show where she had both BB King & the MJQ as quests? They go out with a group jam with Reddy singing "Everyday I Have The Blues". True.

Ok, no video yet, but proof that it happened:
