Hardbopjazz Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 Was there really a campaign to stop teens from listening to jazz in the 60's? Quote
Peter Friedman Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 I completely agree with Pim. Quote
Brad Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 I did a reverse image search and the cartoon, not the writing, seems to come from Archie Comics. There was some outfit or organization called Keller Jazz that used the comic as you reproduced it. Is that where you found it? Quote
GA Russell Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 (edited) "OMG!" is of relatively recent vintage among teens. Edited September 17, 2020 by GA Russell Quote

Dan Gould Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 Its been adopted for Prog (and Tim Webb put it up here) But I can't find a template to make changes? Delmark Records also used it on Facebook I see ... anyway I wonder if Zazzle would produce such a t-shirt. They hassle you about images they think might be copyrighted or trademarked. Quote

John Tapscott Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 These days...if only teenagers would discover jazz. Yes, I know, a very few do...but music always seems to be one of the first things cut in schools. Quote
Milestones Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 I love it, but I wish there were actually a few teenagers like the ones depicted. Quote
danasgoodstuff Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 This strikes me as of relatively recent vintage, and only mildly amusing. Quote
