mikeweil Posted August 17, 2020 Report Posted August 17, 2020 (edited) This discography covers all recordings of organist Don Patterson. known to me. I am indebted to several board members for providing copies of rare recordings or pointing out rare tracks, like the one track from the Eddie Lockjaw Davis session that is not listed in any other discography. HutchFan Posted August 17, 2020 Report Posted August 17, 2020 Mike, THANK YOU so much for sharing this important work! Not only this Don Patterson discography, but ALL of them! Quote
Niko Posted August 17, 2020 Report Posted August 17, 2020 Thanks a lot! I have been using versions of your Patterson discography for years now... I have one tiny piece of extra information: on Blues for Ginni from O.D., Al Grey's son Michael sits in for one chorus on trombone... I first read this here on his youtube channel, but it's even stated on the backcover of the LP ("This piece also includes a musician not listed in the credits [which are like 10cm to the left from where this is written] - Al's son Michael [...] who sat in to record his first chorus on slide trombone") Quote
mikeweil Posted August 17, 2020 Author Report Posted August 17, 2020 Thanks - I will add this immediately! Quote
ghost of miles Posted August 17, 2020 Report Posted August 17, 2020 Yeoman's work, my friend... thanks so much! Quote
mikeweil Posted September 29, 2020 Author Report Posted September 29, 2020 When looking at the Lord Disco a few days ago I noticed that some of my research found its way there. Nice to see it bearing fruit elsewhere. The link to the online version is in the opening post. Quote
mikeweil Posted August 15, 2021 Author Report Posted August 15, 2021 Niko pointed out some minor details to me - the disco has been updated accordingly. Quote
