There were many ..... and for the record I did not watch during the initial Luke/Laura storyline. That was during high school and I didn't have time or interest in that shit. But Grant the Russian spy and Celia Quartermaine who was a total hottie? Oh hell yeah.  And IIRC, they knew how silly the storyline was (there were two Grants, the exact duplicate being the body double Russian spy) and named his spy bosses Boris and Natasha.

Dark Shadows was my one and only soap.  Watched in real time as a kid, and then as an adult via the SciFi Network and DVDs.

Pulling this back into the taxonomy part of the conversation, I file my Dark Shadows soundtrack LPs and CDs in the Space/Fantasy/Gothic/Macabre section.

No distinction between genres, since 95% of my collection could be considered some kind of jazz.  Alphabetical for everything. All regular size CD's together (including box sets) on shelves.  Big box Mosaic on separate shelves alphabetically.  Irregular size box sets on another shelf, alphabetically. Makes everything very easy to find (assuming I've filed it correctly).
