JSngry Posted May 5, 2020 Report Posted May 5, 2020 Putting in a plug for Tommy here, hanging in there during these "unusual" circumstances and not missing a bewat. Kudos for that! Plus, these are damn good prices, compare elsewhere for proof. I have ordered three of these and would like to call them out b/c they are a bit "unusual" in a totally good way: 1225 - Chet Baker - Live at Gaetano's - Phil Urso + Dave McKay/Chuck Domanico, interesting LA rhythm section that was on the cusp of moving a little "out" elsewhere, eager to hear how much (if any) of that shows up here. 1223 - Chet Baker - Live at the Renaissance II - SAL NISTICO!!!! Lorne Lofsky too! but - SAL NISTICO!!!!!!!!! 1227 Chet Baker - The 50's - seems to be this, check it out: Looking forward to hearing all of these. Quote
JSngry Posted May 6, 2020 Report Posted May 6, 2020 I've seen some versions of that The 50's side that list Clifford Brown as also playing on "Tea For two", but only some versions. We'll see! Quote

We'll see! Can confirm that this CD edition does indeed have Clifford in that line up with the Brubeck Quartet et al. Quote
