Brad Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 I was just looking at ebay and unless my computer is screwed up here it looks like those idiots have removed all the subcategories, jazz, rock, blues, etc., what have you, so that you all get is one big category for CD, all 50,000 + auctions. Unless you have something in mind, browsing is now out of the question. I love these people who are always trying to fix what ain't broke. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Nothing personal, Brad, but I sure hope your computer is screwed up! Quote
Dan Gould Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 That does suck. But I assume that putting quotes around words will still work ... I wonder if sales are down, so they want people to end up stumbling across things they wouldn't othrwise find and start bidding ... Quote
Brad Posted March 16, 2004 Author Report Posted March 16, 2004 No, it ain't. If you look at what RC posted, it shows over 7,000 auctions in Jazz. Well, this morning there were over 11,000. What happened is that if you, as a seller, don't click on the genre, your auction will be lost in the maze of other crap (no insult intended). In their wishes to improve, they've made it very difficult. Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Moose, I think this is all probably your fault: Bizarre CD Organization, ...brings interesting neighbors Quote
Jazzmoose Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Okay, I guess it works still, but differently in an odd way. I think it still falls into the category of fixing what ain't broke... Quote

kulu se mama Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 i saw this problem earlier in the day, and i thought it might just be my computer. i agree - don't fix what's not broken. the other way was simple and logical. this new way is not. i think they've made a big mistake. Quote
Tjazz Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Probably just a problem with an update fix. Programmers aren't perfect. Quote
