I wanted to get the new release of The Flam too, which I see Juno is stocking.

To make matters worse, Juno's insanely invasive advertising approach is ensuring that those two LPs are being pushed on me by every website I visit.

Wether there will be a digital release I don't know but the LP comes with a hi-res download. And as the tracking history shows my copy is also still stuck in Cleveland's USPS processing area. Hope it will arrive before x-mas - as my x-mas gift to myself....

After listening to the sound samples I’ve taken a punt and gone for the Juno option. Might even arrive on Saturday !

To be honest, I was amazed to see it up on Juno after the ‘search for the Holy Grail’ vibe on this thread . It wasn’t on my radar but the snippets sound nice, it looks to be a very well done reissue and The Sage (Clifford) has given the word.

I knew Juno had some copies coming, psted upthread, but I found out from Gotta Groove once I'd placed an order with them. Sometimes that's how the cookie crumbles.

The Sage did have qualms about the gatefold sleeve though

Well, I only have qualms about gatefolds when there's not extra music or some super-deluxe look. It's a thin gatefold, nice printing but that's about it. I think an insert could have covered it.

Mine just arrived in the mail - copy no. 287. Excellent LP sound. I can see what Clifford means about the liner but it is OK, in its ‘recycled’ way.

This is an interesting listen for me. A bit like a bracing jazz cold shower or a slab of wasabi before the sushi course. I can see why it has this cult status.

This release seems to be jinxed. My copy has a scratch at the end of side 2.
