Hardbopjazz Posted April 14, 2022 Author Report Posted April 14, 2022 Dexter Gordon and his band appeared in a Danish porno. While the couples had sex, him and the band played the background music. I had a copy of this but don't know where it is anymore. Quote

In 1971, Dexter Gordon and Kenny Drew's trio (NHOP and Jual Curtis) appeared onscreen in Ole Ege's theatrically released hardcore pornographic film ‘Pornografi - en musical’, for which they composed and performed the score. Titles were Tivoli, The Group, Girl With The Purple Eyes and Onrop. Some of the music was recorded at Jazzhus Montmartre, where the quartet is also seen performing.
