Very happy with my 1992 Analogue Productions stereo.reissue, remastered by Doug Sax. One of the very first AP reissues.

Their reissues are always pricy. Limited editions using vintage gear.

FWIW, almost of their releases have sold out so there is a market. I’m guessing these are for audiophiles.  For example, the John Lee Hooker one sells for £500.

A couple of months back on Discogs, their reissue of Leonid Kogan's Beethoven violin concerto has sold for $ 2100.

Yes, a reissue, and yes, more than two thousand bucks.

I think I saw where their Mozart sold for about $2500 or so.

Collecting is collecting, it hasn't got anything to do with music, like a classic Porsche 911 of the sixties hasn't go anything to do with daily commuting. One collects things for itself, not for their functions.
