Back in '63 or '64 when Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers and Cobb toured as "The Trio" I saw them a couple of times in Montreal clubs.

I saw Jimmy Cobb when he appeared at the Vail, Colorado Jazz Party. Don't recall the specific year but it must have been about 20 years ago? Richard Wyands and Peter Bernstein were in his group. And probably a saxophone player as well - Eric Alexander ???

The town of Vail runs a free bus service to take people to different parts of the town. I remember that my wife and I were waiting for the bus outside our hotel when Jimmy Cobb and Peter Bernstein came over to wait with us. We chatted with both of them while waiting for the bus, and also during the ride to our destination.
