I watched The Six Million Dollar Man religiously when I was a kid (iirc it was on Sunday nights).  Didn't learn till many years later that Oliver Nelson wrote the theme music that I loved so much!  My parents were big fans of The Bob Newhart Show, which was part of CBS' strong Saturday-evening lineup.  Great TV memories of that era.  Lately I've taken to watching The Rockford Files, which was a favorite of my dad's.

Another favorite of my parents--Henry Mancini wrote this music, correct?

Every time I hear that Mancini theme, a wave of memories washes over me. Definitely pure 1970s for me.
