Gheorghe Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 I think the first time I heard Tootie was on that old Black Lion LP "Dexter Gordon at Montmatre" from I think 1967 with that fantastic swift version of "Like Someone in Love". And I fell in love with Tootie´s fantastic drum work, the sound of his cymbals, yeah ! A fantastic drummer ! Quote
