erwbol Posted May 1, 2019 Report Share Posted May 1, 2019 Another worthwhile Braxton reissue not mentioned here before is October Meeting 1991 3 Quartets on BIMhuis (BIMhuis 003) which was reissued last december through Bandcamp on CD. It is quite cheap at €10. https://bimhuis.bandcamp.com/album/october-meeting-1991-3-quartets It is a straight reissue of the 90s CD. Jewel case, same artwork, no remaster, limited to 500 copies. The 4 Braxton quartet tracks are in excellent sound, recorded by NPS radio. The quartet is Braxton, Misha Mengelberg, Mark Dresser, and Han Bennink.
