Rooster_Ties
The Hendrix CD's on Dagger are tempting. Not sure if I'd take all of them -- I need to investigate more this weekend.

Not sure if I'd take all of them -- I need to investigate more this weekend. I find the Baggy's Rehearsal Sessions to be excellent-but that's my favorite Hendrix line up. I like the other Dagger releases as well, but they offer more jamming and are somewhat less focused on song.
jazzbo
Those four Daggers are among the best things the family have put out. I bought each as they were released, top notch.

Turns out I started a thread about these very same specific four (4) dagger releases on the Hoffman board 9 years ago. https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/which-of-the-non-live-hendrix-dagger-releases-are-most-worth-getting.229362/ So there's some crowd-sourced input on them right there. Tempting.

Rooster_Ties
Those "Yo Miles!" 2CD sets are fantastic. Each one is 160 minutes, and some of the best reimagining of electric-era Miles I've ever heard. And all 3 together is like 8 hours of material. Stefan Wood
OK, $2 each on the trayless discs. The Silvestri box is outstanding. The Martucci box has some great late 19th c/early 20th c Romantic orchestral music. The Neveu box contains some great classical violin performances, equal if not better than many of her male contemporaries. The Jon Irabagon Foxy album is a sleeper. You will never hear Barry Altschul play like he does here. Explosive. It's like someone set him on fire. I recommend all the Intakt discs, and they are cheap promo copies with mini lp sleeves. The Getatchew Mekuria discs are all excellent, a really good fusion of ethic jazz with post punk legends the Ex.
T.D.
That version of Xenakis' Kraanerg (Bornstein / ST-X ensemble) is a good one if you're into that sort of thing (yeah, the participation of DJ Spooky looks questionable, but the electronics "work"). The Hindemith (underrated composer IMO) quartets are worth a listen, but I already own the Danish Qt. set on cpo.
