felser Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 A great listen. Has aged gracefully. And much more depth and breadth to the album tracks than I ever would have dreamed. Highly recommended. Quote

I've got the expanded Forever Changes that came out after the Love Story anthology. Haven't picked up the reissues of the first two albums yet, though. Quote

I am also a fan of 'Four Sail' and 'Out Here', and of the concert version of 'Forever Changes' with Baby Lemonade doing the backup. It is magical in the same way the Brian Wilson 'Smile' concert is magical, a great performance of beautiful music (Lee is in wonderful shape) and also a powerful story of survival and redemption. One of my most played concert DVD's. Quote

felser Posted March 14, 2020 Report Posted March 14, 2020 For old times sake, but I've never found it compelling overall, though the movie did drive home Springsteen for me, and Gil Scott-Heron's "We Almost Lost Detroit" is a masterpiece. Quote
