felser
Got inspired by our Pink Floyd discussion to finally watch this. I've owned it for years, but never got around to it. Watching it now.

Matthew
While doing some long distance driving yesterday: Flamin' Groovies: Shake Some Action. I've loved this since it first came out, every listen brings back a ton of memories. Roman Holliday: Cookin' On The Roof. Another blast from the past! Velvet Crush: Teenage Symphonies to God. I played all the hits during my drive-time.
EKE BBB
The Smiths – Strangeways, Here We Come (Rough Trade, 1987) Back in those days, I was eagerly waiting for any new material from The Smiths. 'The Queen Is Dead' (1986) was simply great and 'Strangeways...', if not their best album, reasonably maintained the good level, keeping also the lighter approach while leaving aside the somehow depressive mood of their first recordings. Morrissey was (is) a character! 2 minutes ago, Matthew said: While doing some long distance driving yesterday: Flamin' Groovies: Shake Some Action. Matthew
Greta Van Fleet: Anthem of the Peaceful Army. I've been reading that Van Fleet was the new, hot rock band, so I thought "why not?" Good Lord, not one original idea, but every recycled 1970s riff and cliche you can think of made it on the record... terrible, and scary if this is supposed to be where it's at.
