Kevin Bresnahan Posted March 25, 2022 Report Posted March 25, 2022 Neko Case - Middle Cyclone. I bought this one Record Store Day many years back. Clear vinyl. Music is just OK for me. The thing I'm not a fan of is the dynamic compression the recording engineer applied. Everything sounds loud. No nuance at all. Quote

jcam_44 Posted March 28, 2022 Report Posted March 28, 2022 South Central Cartel - South Central Madness This is the 2018 repress, not sure what justifies this for re-pressing on vinyl but I got it dirt cheap. Sound quality is ok, obviously digital tracks but I no longer have my cassette so its been fun revisiting. Quote

felser Posted April 4, 2022 Report Posted April 4, 2022 This was a great and greatly underrated group. Maggie Bell was awesome, James Dewar (later the singer/bassist with Robin Trower) gave them a second strong vocalist, and tragic Les Harvey was an excellent guitarist. Quote
