I saw a touring production of this show with Ms. Bacall and Mr. Guardino in San Francisco in the mid-1980's.  It was based on the old Tracy - Hepburn movie, only in this version she is a famous TV journalist while he is a newspaper cartoonist.  It was an enjoyable show, if not exactly a classic musical.  No real standout songs and the most memorable number on stage involved the cartoonist singing a duet with an animated version of the feline star of his comic strip.  Even from the cheap balcony seats, Ms. Bacall looked fabulous.

That is the second movie (by the same director) Pink Floyd wrote the soundtrack for after More, which I commented on the other day. It plays and is all shot (or so I think) in Borneo.
