yup.

Carsten Meinert and Niels Harrit (unfortunately also a 9/11 "truther" scientist) are also notable Danish tenor players. Ray Pitts was also heavily active on the Danish jazz scene and played both tenor and flute in the Radiojazzgruppen.

Just adding that one of my favorite evenings of live music was listening to the Jesper Thilo Quartet at a little club in Copenhagen with about six people in the audience. Thilo played as if there were hundreds of us listening.

Jesper Thilo  is member of the Danish Rafio Big Band. Have several recordings with that band.
