My first exposure to him, oddly enough, was his voiceover work in the film, Magnolia. 

Entertaining and gifted dude.

Ricky was great! I saw him live a couple of times and he was always a good character actor in films, too. He will be missed. 

I need to listen to that Fresh Air episode.
