Several famous (and semi-famous) musicians did, including George Gershwin, Vernon Duke, Tito Puente, and Leith Stevens. Others I'm not thinking of. I downloaded a giant pdf file years ago, and started to do some work, but I admit, the math was challenging. Curious to hear any opinions or experiences.
