Gheorghe Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 Really enjoyed it, and it´s still like that. One of the greatest experiences for a young unknown musician is to be called up on stand and manage to keep up with great musicians. Wonderful thing. I almost can imagine how it happened for DeArrango. Quote
AllenLowe Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 not sure that his estimation of DeArango's playing is really accurate - though I have to admit I haven't heard much if anything from after the 1940s. Quote
JSngry Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 He's changed a little bit since then... Quote
AllenLowe Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 oh....neither is very good, I think. Quote
