Big Al Posted April 19, 2003 Report Posted April 19, 2003 If anyone has a copy they'd like to sell or trade, or knows where they can get one, I'll gladly buy it. Also, if anyone lives near the Tower in Atlanta, I would gladly pay for that (and Lou Donaldson's GOOD GRACIOUS). I saw a copy when I was there a couple weeks ago, but stupidly did not pick it up. Thanks. Quote
kazak Posted April 19, 2003 Report Posted April 19, 2003 Hey Al, I see that The Music Resource online still lists Blues for Lou as In Stock for $12.75(http://www.themusicresource.com). I have never bought from them before so I can't attest to their reliability. They also have Good Gracious for $9.50. Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted April 19, 2003 Report Posted April 19, 2003 (edited) Blues For Lou @ www.half.com, $15 plus $2.50 shipping (sealed). Good Gracious @ www.half.com, all kinds of different prices, starting at $8.50 plus $2.50 shipping (for a brand new one), down to $7.00 plus $2.50 shipping for used ones. All the usual disclaimers apply... Edited April 19, 2003 by Rooster_Ties Quote
bertrand Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 When Blues For Lou came out, there was a ton of whining on the old board about how much they hated it yada yada yada. I knew that when it went OOP, someone would start looking for it! Good luck, Big Al. I know I'm keeping mine. Bertrand. Quote
Big Al Posted April 21, 2003 Author Report Posted April 21, 2003 Well, it's my own fault. I saw it used last summer, but didn't pick it up because I was going thru a serious Sam Rivers jones, having managed to score the Mosaic, and I was at this store getting Hutcherson's DIALOGUE (which I don't regret for a second, BTW; I only had enough $$$ for one, and I went with the one I was in the mood for). If I knew then what I know now....... Quote
sheldonm Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I've ordered from The Music Resource many times with no problems. Quote
Big Al Posted May 4, 2003 Author Report Posted May 4, 2003 Thanks to Johnny E (who sold me a copy) and everyone else who helped me look. Glad I was able to snag one before it became TOO difficult to find! Quote
