catesta Posted March 22, 2004 Author Report Posted March 22, 2004 Great show lastnight! Looks like next week should be as good. Quote
Dmitry Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Same here. Good one. Very entertaining anf fast-paced. Looks like Paulie is in for it. Feech LaManna is a tough mo-fo. Artie Bucco is Tony's roommate now. This guy is just bound to get hurt... Quote
JSngry Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Funny how that $500 got upped to $1000 only to revert back to $500 by the time it hit the street... Feech LaManna is oldschool all the way and you'd best believe he's got eyes for the top. BIG eyes. Tony needs to feel loved. If this thing ends up like the neo-classic tragedy that some of us have suspected it of being all along, there's the "fatal flaw" right there. It's either going to kill him or drive him mad. Anything less will be a TV-biz-generated copout. Quote
JSngry Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Artie Bucco & Anthony Jr. need to move in together and live happily ever after. Quote
PHILLYQ Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Uncle Junior watching 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' & thinking Larry & Jeff were he and Bobby B. was hysterical! The gardener with the arm brace/cast was a good laugh, too. Does Robert Loggia have the perfect mafia hood voice? Quote
catesta Posted March 22, 2004 Author Report Posted March 22, 2004 Yeah, Loggia was a great choice. Another good laugh, Paulie hitting the guy in the head with the shovel causing the other guy to fall from the tree, and then Paulie puts the lawn mower in the trunk of his El Dorado. Quote
RainyDay Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I gotta admint, last night was gooood. Tony really made me soooo angry when he went off on his sister about Uncle Junior. And I don't even like his sister. Tony needs to quit his attempts to score with his shrink and get back into therapy. Anybody want to bet that Chris's girlfriend ends up killing herself? She is so trapped and finding out it could last for years may push her over the edge. I think Buscemi's character is the snitch just because he is so obviously the choice and you'd be inclined to think it's someone else. If he is so concerned about going straight, why is he still hanging out with these wiseguys? The garderner in the cast was scream, pathetically carrying his little bag of weeds with one hand. Last night was a great episode. Quote
PHILLYQ Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 And Paulie can't even close the trunk! I saw Tony Sirico on the street one day(helives in Brooklyn), and as he passed by me I whispered"Paulieeee". He shot me a Paulie Walnuts eyebrow-raised look that made me laugh out loud! Quote

I could see that happening, of course on the other hand it would be much more dramatic if someone had to kill her. I think Tony B. (Buscemi) will get back in the game sooner or later. Quote
RainyDay Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I agree with the comments about Bescemi. A terrific actor. This has to be unquirkiest I've ever seen him. Quote
catesta Posted March 22, 2004 Author Report Posted March 22, 2004 (edited) I about died when I saw him giving massages to the guys and Tony walked in and made the slumber party comment. Edited March 22, 2004 by catesta Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 I'd seen this thread earlier and ignored it 'cause I thought it was a hunting thread. They want to hunt morning doves in Michigan so why not sopranos? Quote
The Mule Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 My candidate for funniest line of the season thus far: Uncle Junior to Tony: "Make sure you form a seal when you close that freezer door!" Quote

BruceH Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 I'm waiting for Tony to move up to Vermont and open a Vegan restaurant. Quote
Dmitry Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 (edited) Right after he and Melfi elope. Some plot spoilers for future episodes. Edited March 23, 2004 by Dmitry Quote

JSngry Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 Just want to make sure I got the names right - I'm talking about the Robert Loggia character. It takes me a while to learn new character names. I'm slow that way. But if that's the guy, you're on! I'll bet treefitty, with a decimal after tree, so's it stays friendly. Quote

JSngry Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 Oh, I'm sure he'll get wacked (or else have a heart attack or some such), but believe me - he makes a move on Tony's gig before (or most likely because)he does. Treefitty? Quote
JSngry Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 (edited) Shook! If I win my $3.50, and I know I will , I'm gonna buy me a McGriddle with DOUBLE sassage! Whacha' gonna buy if you win? Edited March 23, 2004 by JSngry Quote
