Local Boston legend, the singer Rebecca Parris, passed away recently, shortly after performing at a local club. The Boston Globe just published her obituary:

I saw Rebecca  a couple of times over the years. She was a marvelous vocalist. A terrific voice,a fine style and a solid jazz feeling in her songs.
