But seriously, anybody heard this one? Not sure I want to hear Runnicles do Tristan, but also not sure that I don't...

How's the ordering/servicing from this place...seeing several things of interest, to put it mildly, with much better prices than Amazon Prime.

That Furtwangler Ring is, like 12 bucks cheaper than Amazon...looks like there would be $9 shipping, though. Still, three bucks less, and Amzon gets enough of my business as it is.

Can anybody endorse these folks? There's more than just this that I could go for.

IMO this is the Ring you should go for:

Dynamic conducting, a better cast that Furt's, great price, decent mono sound. Only drawback is that there's no libretto. I'd suggest that you buy Andrew Porter's translation in paperback. Shop around for the best price (e.g  $27 for the whole thing): I believe most versions of these perfrmances are sonically similar. The Pristine Audio re-mastering i(see review at the bottom) is supposed to be a substantial upgrade, but I assume it's fairly pricey.
