Yup ... seems the cheapest price offered during the entire pre-order period was 42 cents lower than when we ordered. Guess I could pick it up tonight, but as I'm going to a concert and don't want to carry along anything, it'll have to wait until tomorrow after work.

Mine arrived today. The box was messed up but the set seems fine. It was shipped from France but was delivered by the UPS/USPS combo!! How does that work?

i think it starts UPS, but ultimately gets switched over to USPS.  on amazon i ordered some stuff that started DHL but ended up usps

but the shipment originated in France.

Yeah, this. It's a handsome package, but be told that the "booklet" is really a glossy 12x24 single sheet folded in half. It's got pictures and stuff, but really tiny fonts. And they use the same liner notes on both the original album and the alternates.

Glad I have, but if I had paid the American price, I would be really pissed.

My copy looks fine from the outside but both lp jackets are split on the bottom. Sigh.

Same here, plus one corner bumped (which extends to the LPs, though the visible damage looks minimal - they must have taken a hard hit somewhere along) - as usual, amazon's packing was as lousy as gets. But either way, at that price I am not going to complain about anything
