JSngry Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 Serious - What you guys are hearing as "earworms", is it the entire tune, start to finish, or just a hook inside the tune? Like the guy who was whistling the Monk tune, did he ever get to the bridge? Quote

JSngry Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 Alright, "just the head", y'all been the whole song, all of it? Intros, bridges, and all? to me, that all seems a bit....thorough to be a "worm". Then again, I'm used to breaking worms into pieces to bait the hook, so I get that mileages will vary. Quote
soulpope Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 For me it is quite often the intro aka the track's opening .... sometimes longer, sometimes shorter .... Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 The intro to Head Hunters' "Chameleon" gets stuck on repeat in my head quite often, particularly on a brisk walk. The cadence fits. Quote
soulpope Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 The intro of Mal Waldron Trio "Rock My Soul" (the version featured on "Free At Last" ECM 1001) .... Quote
soulpope Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 Intro of Archie Shepp + N.H.O Pedersen "Moose The Mooche" (from "Looking At Bird" Steeplechase SCS-1149) .... Quote
