street singer Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 (edited) To anyone who has heard the 1980 vinyl pressing of Mobley's 'Third Season' - how does the sound quality on this compare to the Connoisseur CD version? I've notived that the vinyl can typically be found cheaper than the CD and am wondering what the reason for this might be. Are there any bonus tracks on the CD? Thanks! Eric Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 I have many of the "rainbow" series (of which this was a part) and for the most part, the vinyl is lousy. Go for the CD! Cannot remember about bonus cuts though ... Eric Quote
BFrank Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 Same number of cuts. I dumped my LP and picked up the CD last year. Quote
