swsailor Posted August 10, 2017 Report Share Posted August 10, 2017 Have owned many Hammonds over many years. Bought an SK2 because it is light for an old guy to gig with. Seems to be a lemon. 1, Error message "panel disconnect" comes up - all controls are dead but the organ plays per the sound in use. Originally a reboot would sometimes fix it but eventually nothing would make it operational again; Replaced main board - happened again today, 2, At boot up, many times the factory presets will load and not the custom ones I have created - if I tap a preset button it loads the custom ones, Problem is that all the other custom settings like foot switch control have gone back to factory default also! grrrrrrrrrrrr 3, Also - if you choose manual mode there is no sound until you move the drawbars for upper, lower and pedals... Having said that, connector issues should always be the first suspect, going by the KISS theory, I hope this helps.
