Hello,

I´m looking for the Music from this LP from Mosaic 115 "The Benny Morton/Jimmy Hamilton Blue Note Swingtets".

I don´t want to look for the LP, but for the Music on it.

Does anyone have idea if this Music is also available on CD or as a download (*.flac)?

Any hint and recommendation is very welcome!

Thanks, Berthold

I  used to know the answer to this off the top of my head. I do know the above tracks are on this EMI Blue Note cd:

many thanks for your very quick Response!

This one I already own:

but there are some titles missing especially Sammy Benskin one´s.

So now I´m searching for the japanes CD, it seems it´s hard to find ...

But let´s see.....

Again many thanks!

Berthold

Good luck with that one. Japanese reissues seem to come out and then go out of print in about twenty seconds!

I think he was looking for the music on the LP but not the LP Mike.

I did see a couple of Chronological Classics on eBay but have no idea if they contain the music you seek.

In case you do want the LP, there are a couple of auctions on eBay.

Many thanks for your responses!

I also found it on eBay - but far too expensive for me.

So now I´m looking for someone who can convert a LP to flac or wav files.

If that´s in good quality and not so expansive then I will go this way.

Still trying to figure out a way to hook my computer to my turntable and amp - whenever it finally works I will think of you. Where are you located? Cannot be too far from where I live ...

The one on Ebay is not TOCJ 66104, but the mini lp cd BNC 2007, a 2003 CD.  Like the former cd, it appeared in Japan only, but it was not for sale to the public (some kind of promotion--"Blue Note Club").

It is scarcer than the TOCJ.
