It is! It's one thing to drive down the highway seeing bluebonnets by the side of the road,
but it's quite another standing in a field of them at a Wildflower center and getting a big snootful of them.

Was a "city person" for vast parts of my life, but learned to love (colours of) nature within the last decade ....

Nice. I used to love travelling in the Hill Country when I lived in Texas, to see the bluebonnets. One of the last bluebonnet specific trips I took was to see Willow City Loop in Fredericksburg.
