Pim Posted May 7, 2023 Report Posted May 7, 2023 First bare feet in the sand on the beach day of the year. Very nice temperature but with some heavy showers now and then. It’s about 20/30 minutes cycling from my house. We avoided all the rain and came back dry that small dot is my 4 year old boy playing with his spade and bucket. It really felt like a little vacation. Ken Dryden Posted May 7, 2023 Report Posted May 7, 2023 Yusef Lateef and me, prior to what was probably his only concert in the city of his birth. I have no idea of the year and can't recall his rhythm section, except for bassist Avery Sharpe, who was part of McCoy Tyner's trio concert here in 1991. I wish it had been recorded, it was a small room in the Bessie Smith hall with decent acoustics. Quote

jazzbo Posted May 31, 2023 Report Posted May 31, 2023 (edited) My paternal grandparents. It is so surprising to me how much my sister resembles my grandmother Hazel and my Dad resembles his Dad William (he was a Jr. after all so it shouldn't be as surprising as it always is when I look at this).
