Sadly, you are too late--the 8 track museum is gone--no longer a mysterious destination on Commerce Street in Deep Ellum. When I think of how many times I walked by without venturing inside, it is almost as if I just did not care.

My view has always been that the 8-track was the worst music format ever invented.

When I think of how many gigs I played in the bar next door without venturing in because it was never open, it's almost as if nobody cared.

Having seen that video now, I wish I could have seen the foldable 8-track. That's one that stretches the possibilities of possible.

The Museum in Dallas, Texas is closing after 5 years.

I will admit the video was kind of interesting, and the guy might have made a longer one to preserve an artifact that is all but lost to history (not that's it a great loss).
