alankin Posted April 9, 2017 Report Posted April 9, 2017 I messaged him in February and he said that we was fine and was "taking a break." Hopefully, he'll return at some point. Quote
JSngry Posted July 19, 2017 Author Report Posted July 19, 2017 Well, here's another one. Any word as to how Mr. Stapleton is doing? Sincerely hoping that retirement is treating him well, and vice-versa. Quote
mjazzg Posted July 20, 2017 Report Posted July 20, 2017 Bev's Ok and seems to be making the most of his well earned free time Quote
Brad Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 I just retired. Takes a little getting used to. Quote
jazzbo Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 I'm more than eight years into retirement. I took to it right away. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted August 8, 2017 Report Posted August 8, 2017 I'm looking forward to the challenge! Quote
Clunky Posted August 16, 2017 Report Posted August 16, 2017 I'm getting used to it. Not had any problems with it so far.... Quote
paul secor Posted August 16, 2017 Report Posted August 16, 2017 When I retired, I hadn't prepared myself, and when I walked out the door for the last time I felt somewhat overwhelmed. It took a 25 minute drive home for me to get over that. By then, I was ready to enjoy retirement and the fact that I didn't have to get up and go to work five days a week. I've never looked back. EKE BBB Posted August 16, 2017 Report Posted August 16, 2017 Still too far in the distance for me... but also looking forward to facing it when it comes... Quote

Swinger Posted August 18, 2017 Report Posted August 18, 2017 Oh you lucky devils! I still have around 22-23 years to go before I can retire Quote
kinuta Posted August 18, 2017 Report Posted August 18, 2017 I've been self employed for about 25 years and gradually faded into semi retirement several years ago. I work, used in it's loosest sense, about six hours a week. Retirement suits me fine. I never get bored and seem to have adjusted well. Quote
