Milestones Posted August 21, 2017 Author Report Posted August 21, 2017 (edited) Few people seem interested in the fact that Jerry Lewis died two days ago. Everyone ought to see The Nutty Professor, The King of Comedy, and at least one Martin/Lewis film. Edited August 21, 2017 by Milestones Quote

I've always loved his movies -- since I was a kid right up to the present. I recently re-watched The Ladies Man, and it had me laughing out loud. That trippy, surreal dancing scene with Harry James' band. . . Wow. Brilliant. Edited August 21, 2017 by HutchFan Quote
JSngry Posted August 21, 2017 Report Posted August 21, 2017 I think Jerry Lewis' reputation will only grow now that he's not around to make people what the fuck is wrong with that guy? Seriously, he still makes me laugh, quite often reflexively (which is the truest laugh, right?) except when he has my jaw dropping open about how weird and...uncomfortable he could get. But now that's over, so let's all laugh. Quote
JSngry Posted July 8, 2018 Report Posted July 8, 2018 Seinfeld says, " if you don’t get Jerry Lewis, you don’t understand comedy ". Just watched the episode today, and it's the warmest, least bitter Jerry Lewis in...forever, maybe. Quote
