Dharmajazz Posted January 22, 2019 Report Posted January 22, 2019 Been binging on various Woody Herman releases from the different decades, but I’ve been gravitating to some of the recordings with Bill Chase. Jeez, great stuff! Quote

Dharmajazz Posted January 22, 2019 Report Posted January 22, 2019 (edited) Getting ready to steep some freshly ground coffee in the French-press, which will pair nicely with some hard-bop from the Jazz Messengers. This is an ol’ standby. Indestructible has one hell of a front line- Morgan, Shorter, and Fuller. Energy and fire on this one. Morgan’s "Calling Miss Khadija" is such a cool cut; usually spin it twice. Happy listening. Definitely one of those sessions where it's a good thing the music is so strong! DOH! Circles, not Corners! Dumbass... Quote
